Bass FROG Fishing Style

When considering your FROG fishing and developing your FROG fishing style, try to analyze your entire approach.

You will need to approach the area, cast the FROG, present the FROG, hook the bass, fight and land the bass.

Consider the environment you will be fishing, especially if there is heavy weedcover or other obstructions such as standing trees, fallen logs, overhanging trees or even boat docks etc.

And speaking of docks and over hanging trees, also consider your casting environment.

What type of cast will you need ?

Casting long distances or short ?

Wide open grass prairies or padfields in generalized areas ?

Or accurate casts to specific targets ?

What depth will the fish be holding ?

How close can or should you approach.

When considering your tackle to be used while fishing FROG Lures for bass,  consider whether you will be casting from shore, wading, using a tubefloat, a smaller craft such as a kayak/canoe, a jonboat, or a larger bass boat.

Consider the challenges that approaching, casting and presenting your FROGs will require.

Also consider the challenges to hooking, fighting, and landing a bass .

After considering all of the above factors, you are ready to choose your tackle.
